They believe in something and want to pursue it. Simply... because it's too beautiful not to do. We aspire to this latter category. And we are Marianne Kleppe and Floor van der Kooy.

Since our student days
Together, we derive the greatest pleasure from coming up with innovative ideas, making plans, exploring possibilities, and if we both believe in them, executing these plans. We are enterprising and driven, mainly guided by enthusiasm. This led us in 2009 to establish Adhocdocent; an initiative that, with a completely new perspective on the labor market, brings supply and demand in education together. Over 10 years, we turned this initiative into a great success, after which we handed over this platform to new managers in 2020. We freed our hands for new plans...
Every time we arrived at our workplace...
The home base of Adhocdocent is, along with a number of other companies, located in The Heineken Building Rotterdam, in Crooswijk. And every time we arrived at our workplace, we were welcomed by this historic heritage and the grandeur of bygone times. Each time, we fell a little more in love with the beauty of this magnificent building. So when we decided to embark on something new, it was immediately clear that we wanted to do it at this location. From our interests in design, hospitality, and history, the idea arose to develop an exclusive meeting location at this place.
Ruben is a born host and has been working in the hospitality industry since his youth. With a father who worked for Heineken Netherlands for 25 years, the connection to the brand is strong. With his extensive experience, he is truly an asset to the team.
Marit likes to dot the i's and cross the t's. Besides her enthusiasm and experience in hospitality, she ensures the proper handling of your event. No question is too much for her; she is creative in solutions and always there for you.
Juliette's smile makes every guest's visit a delight. She has extensive experience in hospitality and handles everything with ease. As a hostess, she welcomes you warmly in the Heineken building.
Stadsherstel Historic Rotterdam and Heineken Collection Foundation
Following good consultations with Stadsherstel Historic Rotterdam and the Heineken Collection Foundation, Heineken has entrusted us with restoring this location to its former glory in the form of a beautiful meeting location with additional facilities, such as a museum and surprising catering. It is a wonderful opportunity to unlock the stories, images, and experiences of the past while simultaneously using them to inspire visitors and enliven meetings and celebrations.
