From brewery to inspiring meeting location
In 1874, a year after the founding of Heineken’s Brewery Company, the Heineken Building in Rotterdam was used as a brewery. Heineken’s first brewery started in Amsterdam, but the second in Rotterdam was one of the most advanced breweries of its time. Architect Willem Kromhout came up with a new design for the building in the vibrant 1920s in the Rotterdam district of Crooswijk. Today, only the office building remains, which was renamed the Heineken Building Rotterdam in 2021: a unique meeting location you don't want to miss!
