Heineken Brewery Rotterdam

In 2019, Stadsherstel, in collaboration with Heineken Netherlands and Mars Interior Architects, developed the plan for 'Heineken’s Beerlab'. The name is a reference to the former Heineken laboratory that was located here. The plan includes a Heineken Rotterdam Museum, a conference center, and a grand café. The entrance to the grand café will be at the end of the facade: exactly where Willem Kromhout had designed the café and reception area in 1930. The first phase of the plan (the conference center) is set to open in 2021.
